They have been playing music together since 1990 and have released 2 CD's.  The first was On The Edge in 1990 as The Cause.  The second was Earth  in 1996 in Nashville, TN. Both Bill and Lisa play guitar, sing and write music (separately and together).

So what's special about these musicians?

The lights go down and a powerful voice rises above two guitars that complement and intertwine, notes and chords creating rhythms and a wonderfully full sound. Both Lisa & Bill bring diverse musical backgrounds to play. Bill's diversity is in his talents as an instrumentalist (he plays guitar, bass, keyboards and is a great arranger). He uses unusual chord progressions in his writing and has a great ear for solos and fills. Lisa's diversity is more stylistic having studied classical and jazz voice - and having sung and/or played guitar with classical, jazz, rock, folk and even klezmer groups. Lisa has great control over her voice and uses it to bring strength and emotion to everything she sings.

Separately these two musicians have very different styles and sounds. At first they didn't think that they would be able to work together because their voices sound so different. Gladly, they decided to stick with it for a few months to see if they could find a way to blend their voices and guitars. The result is a new sound that they can no longer live without. Fans agree.
